Jel zna neko pravilan nacin za linear workflow za mental ray i max?

Malo me zbunjuje max.

 

Evo sta imam za sad(mozda nije nesto tacno od ovoga):

 

1.U gamma and lut table stavim gamma na 2.2 , ovo znaci da ce renderovana slika imati gamma korekciju.

2.stavim affect color selector i materials - ovo znaci da ce boje u material editoru isto biti sa gammom.

Da li ovo znaci da se samo prikazuju sa gamom a racunaju bez gamme???

Pretpostavljam da se ono sto se prikazuje ustvari i racuna.

3.moram na svaku boju i texturu(koja nije linearna) da stavljam gamma shader da bi otklonio gammu.

 

E sad nesto sto mi nije jasno.

Posto hocu da sacuvam kao exr format , u dialogu za exr stoje opcije:

use system defaults gamma - jel ovo znaci da ce primeniti gammu koja je stavljana u gamma i lut?

Override - e ovde bi trebalo ako stavim 1 , trebalo bi da mi ne stavlja nikakvu gamma korekciju na sliku ali je stavlja.

 

Jedino ako stavim "reverse" gamma(0.455) tek je tada ok.

Probacu definitivno, uvek mi se cinio da je bolji od vrayscatter, samo sam na njihovom sajtu video da oba sketera imaju samo beta podrsku za vray 2, pa sam po automatizmu pretpostavio da necu moci da se ovajdim...

 

E da, proxypainter mi je uradio posao (nije toliko dobar, al jbg) cisto ako neko ima slicnih problema

Tema moze u top 'ladno. Mislim da svi vidimo koliko moze da bude korisna! Osim u pocetku gde smo se mi mjetalci izduvali malo, drago mi je da vidim da nema gluposti i idiotluka.

Jelte ljudi, jel mislite da ova tema sluzi svrsi? Evo, deset strana, pa me zanima, jel ovo ono sto ste i ocekivali od teme, jel vam sluzi/pomaze, neke smernice za dalji razvoj i tako to?

 

 

aj ne bilo ti zapovedjeno pobrisi one spamove, i moje izmedju ostalih, pa da ostane samo korisno, mozes?

inace tema ti je VR'!

 

i da, otvori nesto kao "3D HRKLJUS" da mozemo tamo da pisemo svasta, i kacimo jutjub lunkove ;)

Pitanje....gremlini naravno:

 

da li se ikom ikad desilo da ne moze da kreira selection set? Jednostavno kada pokusam da kliknem na polje za unos sel. set imena gremlini ne daju, nego se dropdownuje prazna lista? Volim selsetove pa bih im rado isekao skalp ako je ikako moguce (gremlinima ne selsetovima) :D a ovako je kompletan alat neupotrebljiv. Max 2010 x64.

Ne radi mi delete dugme u maxu 2011... :huh: Je l' imao još neko sličan problem? 64-bitna verzija je u pitanju...

 

EDIT: Našao sam u čemu je bio problem, Slate Editor iako minimiziran ne da fokus glavnom prozoru, mora da se zatvori da bi se neke prečice koristile... Bezveze...

 

A i ovaj Slate Material Editor, ništa mi nije jasno...

Inace jel koristite uopste linear workflow (vray,mental) ray ili sljakate po defaultu?

 

 

Meni to uvek bilo cimanje, uzmi lepo napravi sliku da valja, fotoshopiraj posle i to ti je to, recimo ako koristis Rheinhard, to ti je dosta slicno tome.

obavezno

, cak sam ceo studio prisilio da ga koristi za 3delight. Napisao sam i skripte za Vray al tu se vec neckaju posto su se navikli na dark side

 

 

Okmijun:

To je sve OK za neki enterijer , nabudzis ga da izgleda OK i ides dalje. Ali kad treba da radirs ozbiljniji kompoziting pa jos LUT da koristis prosto je neophodno da celim pipeline-om pravino provlacis linearnu sliku dok na kraju ne izbacis u koji god format klijent hoce. U suprotnom veliko budzenje...

Since Maya can be considered as one of the leading packages for VFX and production, it’s the standard for RealFlow’s solvers. This means that geometry scales from Maya and RealFlow are exactly the same. This also implies that RealFlow’s default “Geometry scale” of 1.0 directly represents Maya’s internal scale. In other words: objects from Maya are displayed 1:1 inside RealFlow. Another important fact with “Geometry scale” 1.0 is that the solvers work best at this particular scale.

Nuke 6.2 nastavlja da melje, mozda uskoro preraste u pravi 3D paket :)

Dope Sheet

You can now view and edit your keyframes and Read nodes in the Dope Sheet. The Dope Sheet is a new tab that provides a straightforward, uncluttered way for adjusting the timing of keyframes and Read nodes. You can for instance move keyframes and Read nodes around on the timeline, stretch selected keyframes in relation to each other and synchronize the frame range between the Dope Sheet and the Curve Editor.

 

The Modeler node (NukeX)

You can now create polygon faces from your 2D footage and use them to make a 3D model with the Modeler node (3D > Geometry > Modeler). You can create both faces and single vertices and view them in the 3D view, and you can edit and extrude the faces after creating them.

 

The ProjectionSolver node (NukeX)

You can now align 2D images with a 3D model using the ProjectionSolver node (3D > ProjectionSolver). You can match points in your 2D footage with corresponding points in 3D, and the ProjectionSolver node will use this information to create a solved camera to match your footage. You can also create Card nodes to correspond with your camera positions to help you visualize your scene better.

 

Dense point clouds and meshes (NukeX)

Using the new PointCloudGenerator node (3D > Geometry > PointCloudGenerator) you can create a dense point cloud based on the information generated by CameraTracker. You can adjust and filter your dense point cloud and then use the dense point cloud further to create a 3D mesh with the PoissonMesh node (3D > Geometry > PoissonMesh). You can also export your dense point clouds and meshes as FBX files and use them in other scripts. The PoissonMesh node is based on the Poisson Surface Reconstruction calculation method.

 

Rendering with PrmanRender (NukeX) :D

PrmanRender (3D > RenderMan > PrmanRender) is a new render node in NukeX that works together with Pixar’s PhotoRealistic RenderMan® software to give you an even better quality render result. PrmanRender is an alternative to the ScanlineRender node for rendering 3D scenes, and it gives you control over features such as shadows, reflections, refractions and depth-of-field.

 

Improved support for using relative file names

In previous versions of Nuke, relative filenames used for images or geometry would be located relative to the "current working directory" that the operating system defines when Nuke starts up. To make it easier to use relative paths in a reliable way, a new project directory control was added to the Project Settings. You can use this control to define the directory that relative paths are relative to.

 

Improved flipbooking and rendering workflow

You can now flipbook using the Flipbook this Viewer button in the Viewer window. The Flipbook dialog has new options for instance for defining region of interest and channels. There’s also a new option in the Render dialog for performing the render in the background.

Nema direktno veze sa 3d-om, ali ima sa offtopicom :)

 

Elem, jel imate neke ideje sta bi mogao biti uzrok problema koji imam:

Od prekjuce, svi youtube filmovi su mi zeleni, imaju zvuk i nakon 15 sekundi zapuca flash u browseru. Isto se desava i sa pojedinim wmv fajlovima (ne sa svm, i ne mogu tacno da ustanovim koja je razlika izmedju jednih i drugih).

 

Reinstalirao sam flash (probao klot 10, pa 9, pa opet update na najnoviju i jok), reinstalirao shockwave, reinstalirao quick time, km player sa sve njegovim kodecima, reinstalirao ati catalyst za svaki slucaj i nakon svega toga opet sam na istom. Flash ne radi ni u jednom browseru, pola wmv-ova radi, pola ne, i tako. Zelenooo, ne volim te zelenoo...

 

Jel ima neko ideju posto sam prekjuce ceo dan odlepljivao za kompom pokusavajuci da skontam sta bi mogao vise da uradim?

Ladno, cim sam otkucao sam resio. Neverovatno. Mora da se ide desni klik na flash playeru, settings, i da se iskljuci hardware acceleration. Uzas.

 

Kada se to meni desavalo, prebacio sa 360p na 480 ili 720 i tako je radilo :)

@breeder: ja sam prešao pre više od pola godine, makar na enterijerima dok radim i moram da priznam da mi je sad teško da se vratim na "dark side" ;). Inače vray kod mene....

 

 

Koji tutorial ti je najvise pomogao?

 

Ili neki savet da nam das kako je najlakse preci na LWF, meni, ono dok sam citao 2008, bilo tolko zamrseno da nisam nista shvatio! :(
