JOB Description:

Maintaining the On -Air presence and quality of 10 live sports channels including one HD beam by the efficient operation and coordination of server based Digital Broadcast Automation, Production and Transmission Systems.
• Precise checking and processing of electronic schedules & Play out of Digital Media to ensure accurate transmission of channel content.
• Technical Quality Checks of all ingested & duplicated material and Satellite Feeds.
• Coordinate live and non-live feeds with remote broadcast facilities via satellite & fibre networks.
• Operation, Configuration and Tuning of satellite receivers, L-band routing, Video/Audio processing systems, SDI routing systems, VTR’s, Servers etc.
• He should be Team Player, with good attitude, commitment and flexibility to work in a shift roster and should be able cope with high pressure operational conditions.

Qualifications: The suitable candidate will have at least 5 years experience in live Television environment and out of which at least 3 years in an automated transmission environment. • Communication skills are key to this position, as are self-organization and planning, problem solving ability and self-motivation. • Attention to detail is a must in a deadline driven environment.

•A bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering or equivalent is required.
